Someone will be said to be 'aggressive' if they 'fight' for what they desire. They sacrifice anything they have, and do anything they can. An aggressive girl can be in many places where the boy she likes presents. The synonym of 'aggressive' is militant (the verb is militate). We often hear this word referring to people armed and fight for independence/ autonomy to their country or province.
